Over 57,000 Abstain From Intermediate Exams
Of the 8,26,928 general and 72,754 vocational candidates registered across the state, a total of 57,317, or 6.37%, abstained from today's papers.

The Intermediate Public Examinations were held across the state on Tuesday without any untoward incidents.
Of the 8,26,928 general and 72,754 vocational candidates, a total of 57,317, or 6.37%, abstained from Mathematics Paper-II A, Botany Paper - II, Civics Paper - II and Psychology Paper - II subjects. The authorities have booked a total of 80 students for malpractice.
The Board of Intermediate Education has sent Observers to the districts of Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Karimnagar, Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy Districts.
All the CS/DOs have been instructed not to allow cell phones of the invigilators inside the examination hall and instead they have been asked to deposit the same with the CS only from 8.45am to 12 noon without fail and also directed not allow the staff into the room with cell phones while opening the QP packets at 8.45am.
