Out On Bail, Sharmila Slams KCR

The founder president of the YSR Telangana Party Y S Sharmila today slammed CM K Chandrashekar Rao and asked him whether he did any justice to the state in his 9-year-long rule.

Speaking to the media after being releasing from the Chanchalguda women's prison, she asked the CM, who she said had promised to create a golden Telangana, what he did for the State, and if he had even gone to the State secretariat even once.

She alleged that the CM had failed to implement any of his promises like farm loans waiver, loans to women self-help group members at 0% interest, free double bedroom houses to the homeless, 12% reservations for Muslims and allowances for the unemployed.

She said that the CM had failed to keep even a single promise made to the people of the State.

KCR was capable only of corruption and nothing else, and had looted the state to the tune of thousands of crores, she claimed.

She added that while the son of the CM K T Rama Rao was busy making money from real estate, the daughter K KAvitha was busy doing liquor business.

Commenting on her own arrest, she said that she was arrested without any warrant, and that there were no women police when she was being arrested. She asked the police why they had stopped her vehicle, and said that she had only pushed the police away from her as she feared physical attack by them.

She asserted that she did not misbehave with the police, and said that it was in fact the police that had misbehaved with her mother Y S Vijayalakshmi.
