OU Celebrates Telangana Formation Day

Vice-Chancellor S Satyanarayana unfurled the national flag at the University Arts College in the OU premises, and participated in several functions.

On the occasion of the formation day of Telangana as the 29th State of the nation, Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Prof S Satyanarayana on Monday unfurled the national flag at the University College of Arts and Social Sciences (UCASS) in the OU premises.

OU Registrar Prof K Pratap Reddy, OSD Prof K Nageswar Rao, UCASS Principal Prof S Mallesh, Administrative Officers, members of the teaching and non-teaching staff, and students participated.

The OU VC also hoisted the national flag at the Faculty Club, OU.

Later, he participated in the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations organized at ICSSR and Science College, OU campus.

He congratulated all on this occasion.

Prof S Satyanarayana paid homage to the Telangana martyrs and recollected their sacrifices.

The euphoria of the Telangana Formation Day culminated in festivities on the Osmania University campus. (INN)
