As part of the Bonalu celebrations in Secunderabad's Ujjaini Mahankali temple, jogini Swarna Latha today asked the devotees and people to stay careful to overcome the coronavirus crisis in the city and state.
After the rituals of Rangam and Bonalu at the temple, following tradition, Swarna Latha as the oracle affirmed that She would protect the people from the virus and any other health issues with a rider.
The oracle asked the devotees and people to conduct the rituals of yagnas, homams and saaka, and follow the culture. She specifically said that devotees should perform abhishekams and offer bonam to Ganga Devi, and also suggested five weeks of bonalu with Shaka presentation to get rid of any health problems.
She also asked the people to also follow the norms to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
"I am here to save my devotees from diseases and the spread of viruses. However, you have to be extra careful with the coronavirus," she said. "You have to follow norms to remain healthy, and worship me as usual," the oracle said.
