Only 53.03% Polling In Hyderabad District
Despite tall claims by the authorities of the poll percentage hitting 75% this time, nearly half of Hyderabad's voters did not cast their votes.

Despite tall claims by the authorities of the poll percentage hitting 75% this time, nearly half of the voters in Hyderabad district did not cast their votes on Wednesday.
The 15 Assembly segments and two Lok Sabha constituencies in Hyderabad district had an aggregate polling percentage of just 53.03.
While the percentage for the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat was 52.79%, it was 53.57% for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat.
In the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, the highest polling of 54.50% was registered in the Charminar Assembly constituency, which was followed by Malakpet (54%) and Bahadurpura (53%). The remaining four constituencies - Karwan, Goshamahal, Chandrayangutta and Yakuthpura - had a poll percentage of just 52%.
Similarly, in the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency, the Secunderabad Assembly segment saw the highest (58%) polling, and was followed by Musheerabad and Amberpet with 55% each, Jubilee Hills and Sanathnagar with 53% each, and Khairtabad (51%). Nampally had the lowest polling, of just 50%.
The polling percentage in the Secunderabad Cantonment seats, which fall under the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segment, was just 51%. (INN)
