The CBI special court, on Thursday, extended the judicial remand of suspended IAS officer Y Srilakshmi till 4 June.
Srilakshmi was arrested in connection with the illegal mining case of Obulapuram Mining Corporation, a company owned by former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy.
Srilakshmi was produced before the CBI special court, following the expiry of her remand on Thursday. Following the court's directions, the officials shifted her to Chanchalguda Women's Jail.
Srilakshmi has been named as the 6th accused in the OMC illegal mining case. Earlier, the court dismissed the bail petition of Srilakshmi, while granting bail to Gali Janardhan Reddy. (INN)
