NSUI Demands Cancellation Of First Year Inter Exams, Direct Promotion

Hyderabad | 25th September 2021
The Telangana unit of the NSUI today demanded the state government promote intermediate first year students without any exams.

The state president of the organization Venkat Balamoor along with a delegation today handed over a petition to the Telangana Board of Intermediate Secretary Omar Jaleel, and urged him to withdraw the intermediate examination schedule released on Friday.

Speaking to the media later, Balamoor said that the releasing of the schedule could not be used as an excuse, and that the students should be promoted without tests, and with at least 60% marks.

He said that the students would need to take their second year exams again in five months, and that would result in stress on them given that they also needed to prepare for several competitive exams like EAMCET, NEET and JEE.
