Notorious Absconding Hyderabad Robber Arrested Under PD Act
The Hyderabad police finally arrested Mohd Talha Ahmed alias Ahmed, a notorious property offender and burglar, who has been absconding for quite a while.

The Hyderabad police had invoked the P D Act against Mohd Talha Ahmed alias Ahmed, a notorious property offender and burglar operating in the Golconda police limits, on October 5, 2017.
However, the offender had been absconding after the issue of the PD orders. He was finally taken into custody on May 9 and has been lodged in the Central Prison, Chanchalguda, since May 10.
The police said that the detenu was involved in eight property offences, including robberies, under the limits of the Hyderabad and Cyberabad police commissionerates. He had struck fear among the general public, especially the womenfolk, by committing offences in public places, disturbing the peace, tranquillity and social harmony in society.
The Golkonda police had originally arrested him on February 8, 2017, and had recovered stolen property from him comprising two motorbikes and 68.85 gram of gold ornaments all worth Rs. 3 lakhs, and had remanded him to judicial custody on February 9, 2017. Subsequently he was released on bail in all the seven cases on May 31, 2017. However he then disappeared again.
