Notification For 1,100 Posts Soon, Says KCR

The Telangana government will announce notifications in a few days to fill 1,100 vacant Group II posts in various departments, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today informed the Assembly.

Replying to the members, he announced that in addition to the existing 500 posts, another 600 posts would be filled followed the issual of the notification in four to seven days.

Reiterating that the government would fill one lakh posts as promised, the Chief Minister said that the unemployed youth need not worry as the government was firm on filling all the vacant posts.

"On getting information from the departments, we will announce the posts, which will be filled soon after the Kamalanathan Committee completes the bifurcation of officials among the two Telugu States. Had the Committee wound up the process by now, we would have gotten more posts filled," he said.
