Noted film actor Junior NTR, on Monday, condemned allegations that he was behind the suspension of Telugu Desam Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani from the TDP.
Talking to media persons at his residence, NTR Junior denied any role in his friend and legislator Nani's move to quit the party and his joining the YSR Congress party.
"I have nothing to do with his decision," he said.
When asked if he would request Nani to return to the TDP, the actor said, "He may have his own reasons. I am leaving this to him."
Ruling out reports of quitting the Telugu Desam Party, NTR Junior also denied differences between the Nara and Nandamuri families.
He also ruled out differences with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and his uncle N Balakrishna.
"I will remain with the Telugu Desam till my last breath. There is no question of my leaving the TDP, which was founded by my grandfather, NTR," he said.
Stating that his priority remains the film world, he said, "I could not allot enough time to play an active role in politics." (INN)
