Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka today claimed that there were no power cuts for even a blink of an eye in Telangana, and that sufficient power was available for the State till 2029-30.

Vikramarka along with his family members visited the Srisailam temple. He performed special prayers to Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bhramaramba Ammavaru there, and spent some time on the temple premises later.

The Deputy CM was accompanied by Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, MLAs Vamsi Krishna, Rajesh, Mega Reddy, Kasireddy Narayana Reddy and Yennam Srinivas Reddy, and district officials.

Speaking with the media later, Vikramarka said that he had prayed Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy to keep the people of both the Telugu States prosperous and happy, and make the crops grow abundantly.

He added that another purpose of his visit was to review the Srisailam hydel power project before the arrival of the monsoons, and thereby take the necessary steps for large-scale power generation.

He said that measures were being taken to generate electricity at the highest level through the Srisailam hydel project.
