Communist Party of India (Marxist) State Secretary B V Raghavulu on Monday stated that the law and order problem had not deteriorated enough in the state to impose President's rule.
Talking to media persons, the CPM leader said that no such condition prevailed in the state to impose President's Rule.
Political parties are crying hoarse over the alleged report sent by Narasimhan in which he is believed to have recommended that President's rule could be imposed in the state following the submission of the
Justice B N Srikrishna Committee Report.
When Raghavulu was asked to comment on the issue, he said that the Governor was misleading the centre by sending fake reports on the situation.
He added that despite the state remaining peaceful after the submission of Justice Srikrishna Committee Report to the centre, a section of people are spreading rumours that the law and order situation in the state had deteriorated.
The CPM leader urged the centre to make its stand clear on the bifurcation of state and take a favourable decision on Srikrishna Commission Report. He said the inordinate delay in announcing a decision on the bifurcation of state would increase law and order problem.
The CPM is against the bifurcation of the state.
