No Link Between Cylinder Blast And Our Event: BRS
BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao claimed that there was no link between the Aathmeeya Sammelanam held by the party and the gas cylinder blast that killed two persons.
BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao today claimed that there was no link between the Aathmeeya Sammelanam held by the party at Karepally mandal of Khammam district and the gas cylinder blast that claimed the lives of two persons.
He said that the blast took place in a small hut at a distance of 200 metres from the venue of the BRS' meeting, and that all the party leaders were on the stage when the blast occurred.
He said that hot weather conditions could be one of the reasons behind the cylinder blast.
He asserted that the government would extend all possible financial help to the family members of the victims. He said that the district Collector had already been directed to shift all those injured in the incident to Hyderabad for better treatment.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao called up minister from Khammam district Puvvada Ajay Kumar and enquired about the incident. He also called up Nageswara Rao and gathered details about the incident. The CM promised the two leaders that the State government would come to the rescue of all the affected families.
Minister K T Rama Rao also expressed grief at the incident and added that the government would come to the rescue of the victims.
