Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists on Wednesday celebrated the party's victory in Bihar Assembly elections by distributing sweets and cakes amidst bursting of firecrackers at the party office.
Talking to media persons, BJP state president Kishen Reddy said that people of Bihar state had rejected the Congress party, and gave a fitting reply to other parties like Rashtriya Janata Dal and Lok Janshakti Party.
Reddy added that even after All India Congress Committee general secretary Rahul Gandhi's campaign in 24 Assembly segments, the people of state rejected Congress, and elected Janata Dal (United) led by Nitish Kumar and BJP candidates in all constituencies.
The BJP President expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance led by BJP would form government at the centre in next general elections to be held in 2014.
