Bhartiya Janata Party State president G Kishan Reddy has announced that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be coming to Hyderabad to address the Yuva Sammelan on July 27.
Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Kishan Reddy said that Narendra Modi will be arriving at Hyderabad on July 20.
Expressing his mounting frustration over the way in which the Congress-led UPA government was delaying taking a firm stand on the issue of a separate Telangana state, G Kishan Reddy said that the government should expedite its decision-making process.
He said that the BJP was ready to support a Bill for a separate Telangana state if the ruling party introduces it in the Lok Sabha.
Furthermore, Kishan Reddy also rejected the idea of a "Telangana package".
He said that a meeting will be organised on June 27, in which the Centre shall be informed that only the formation of a separate Telangana state (and not half-hearted "packages") would suffice. (INN)
