Telangana Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy today announced that the Narayanpur reservoir would be prioritized as a top project, with an allocation of Rs 70 crore for its completion within a year.
He made this announcement while participating in the Gram Sabha held in Narayanpur village in Gangadhara mandal.
Reddy visited the Narayanpur reservoir today accompanied by minister Ponnam Prabhakar and other elected representatives from the Congress. Addressing the Grama Sabha on the occasion, he said that while the previous administration had invested significant sums, it had only managed to provide water to a limited area. In contrast, the Congress government was developing plans to deliver water to a broader region at a lower cost, he added.
