Known for holding protests in a novel way, TDP MP and actor Naramalli Sivaprasad on Tuesday arrived at the Parliament in the get-up of Hindu mythological character Narada.
Chanting "Narayana, Narayana", the Chitoor MP strongly opposed the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana. He also composed a song in Telugu, slamming the Congress party's decision to divide the state.
The lyrics of song which began thus, "O Soniamma!", accused Sonia Gandhi of creating a divide among the Telugu people.
The song said that "brothers are fighting each other" in the Parliament and Assembly.
Naramalli, through his song, said that just because Congress was elected twice in Andhra Pradesh, it "wants to divide the state into 2 parts".
"Are you doing this division for Rahul?" he asked Sonia Gandhi. (INN)
