Naidu's Remarks May Hurt Alliance: BJP

BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy on Friday expressed regrets over some remarks made by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu criticising the BJP.

Kishan Reddy said that Naidu should have conveyed his feelings directly to the BJP leadership instead of airing the same in a public meeting.

He said such moves could hurt the TDP-BJP alliance in the State and would send a wrong message to the people.

He said that Naidu could have spoken to BJP senior leader Prakash Javedkar or others. However, by criticising the BJP publicly, Naidu has raised a question mark over his party's alliance with the BJP.

Reddy said that the BJP was not supporting the YSRCP candidates in Seemandhra, and had only given tickets to senior leaders who had been working for the party for a long time. (INN)
