The Nampally court today adjourned the hearing in the defamation case filed by Tollywood actor Nagarjuna against minister Konda Surekha to December 19.
During the previous hearing, the court had issued a summons to Surekha, directing her to personally attend the proceedings. However, the lawyer representing her requested the court to grant another date for her appearance, citing her numerous important appointments.
Accepting the plea, the court rescheduled the hearing to December 19.
For context, Nagarjuna had filed the defamation case against Surekha over remarks that she made about him and his family.
