In a major jolt to the YSR Congress Party, its senior leader M V Mysoora Reddy today tendered his resignation from the Party.

Reddy, who hails from the native district of the YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, sent his resignation letter to the Party president by email.

In his four-page resignation letter, he reportedly mentioned his reasons for quitting the Party in detail.

Speaking later to the media, Mysoora Reddy said that despite being the Opposition leader, Jagan never bothered to fight for the people's problems.

Also condemning Jagan's attitude in general, Mysoora Reddy said that the former did not consider the suggestions of others.

He also expressed concern that the Party was giving importance to money, and alleged that Jagan had no belief in democratic values.
