Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao on Friday requested Director General of Police B Prasad Rao not to permit the "Samaikya Shankharavam" meet proposed to be held by the YSR Congress party in Hyderabad.

The Congress MP, who called on the DGP on Friday evening, said that the meeting on Samaikyandhra would disturb the city's peace and might create law and order problems in the state capital. He requested the DGP to disallow the meeting of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. (INN)
