Monsoon Session Day-3: House Adjourned Till Friday
The Speaker adjourned the House till 10 AM after the members of the opposition parties gheraod the Speaker's podium and started shouting slogans.

The State Legislative Assembly failed to carry out any regular business for the third consecutive day on Thursday.
As soon as the House met, members of all opposition parties gave separate adjournment motions seeking discussions on different issues. The members include M Narasimhulu (TDP), Shobha Nagi Reddy (YSRCP), Etala Rajender (TRS), Akbaruddin Owaisi (MIM), E Lakshminarayana (BJP), G Mallesh (CPI) and M Ranga Reddy (CPM). These MLAs wanted the House to discuss the hike in diesel prices, Telangana resolution and Sub-plan for Minorities. However, Speaker Nadendla Manohar disallowed all the adjournment motions.
Following the rejection of the adjournment motions, the members of the opposition parties gheraod the Speaker's podium and started shouting slogans. Following the uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House till 10 AM. Similar scenes continued when the House re-assembled. However, Municipal Administration Minister M Maheedhar Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha introduced three bills for amendments into the AP Municipal Corporation Act, Education Act and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act. With the opposition members ignoring the Speaker's appeals for the restoration of order, the House was adjourned again till 11 AM.
After the House reassembled, the Speaker made two announcements of meetings to be held in connection with the World Telugu Conference and Area Development. However, a few minutes later the House was adjourned again till 12 noon due to continuous uproar. Similar scenes recurred when the House met again and amid the din, Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who was on the chair, adjourned the House till Friday. (INN)
