Modi Pats Bandi For Completing Padayatra
PM Narendra Modi today called up Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay and congratulated him on successfully completing the second phase of his Praja Sangrama Yatra.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called up Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar and congratulated him on successfully completing the second phase of his Praja Sangrama Yatra.
Modi also praised the efforts of the party leaders and workers in the successful organisation of the padayatra.
Sanjay told the Prime Minister that he had walked 770 km during his padayatra, and that Modi was his role model in taking up the padayatra.
He also told the PM that he was undertaking the padayatra in order to convey the Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas slogan of Modi to the people of the State.
In a statement, Sanjay said that Modi had asked him about the questions raised by the people in the State during his padayatra. Replying to the question, Sanjay told the PM that the people were very angry with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and that the people had asked him to bring Modi's corruption-free rule to Telangana.
He said that he had also told the PM that he had instilled confidence among the people who were facing problems, and also that the public meetings addressed by the national president of the party J P Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah had given the much-needed boost to the party leaders and the workers.
Earlier in the day, Sanjay visited the Peddamma temple in Jubilee Hills and offered prayers.
