Shun "Dynastic" TRS, Congress, MIM, TDP: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called upon the people of Telangana to defeat political parties which perpetrated dynastic rule.

Addressing an election meeting at L B Stadium in Hyderabad, Modi said that the Congress, the TDP, the TRS and the MIM were all controlled by members belonging to a single family, and that such practices were dangerous for democracy.

Targeting KCR specifically, Modi said that the state was practically ruled by his family, and that youth of Telangana had sacrificed their lives hoping for a better and bright future, and not to be looted by the family members of KCR.

Modi also said that NTR had floated the TDP to protect the self-respect of the Telugu people against Congress slights. But the current TDP president Chandrababu Naidu had forged an alliance with the same Congress today, and was working with Rahul Gandhi whose father had directly insulted the Telugu people. Naidu's alliance with the Congress was only to achieve his selfish political designs and to satisfy his lust for power, Modi alleged.

The BJP was the only party which was not affected by family or dynastic rule, and genuinely followed democracy at every level, Modi claimed.

In the mammoth meeting, state BJP leaders including state party chief Dr K Laxman and former party MLAs were also present.
