MLC Challa Venkatarami Reddy Likely To Join Congress

The BRS continues to suffer blows. Seven MLAs and six MLCs have already resigned from the party to join the Congress, and the number of people leaving the party seems to be still increasing. There are reports that another MLC from the BRS, Challa Venkatrami Reddy, is all set to resign from the party and join the Congress.

Venkatarami Reddy met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy a while ago. According to sources, the MLC asked for the immediate completion of the works of the Nettempadu and RDS projects, which provide irrigation waters in the Alampur assembly constituency. There is however talk in the Congress circles that Venkatarami Reddy is likely to join the Congress in a day or two.
