Telangana ministers along with local MLAs participated in the Swachch Hyderabad program on its third day.
At Balanagar, Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav participated in the cleanliness drive. He removed garbage at the locality and promised to address the issues of the people involving basic amenities such as roads, drainage, drinking water and electricity.
Speaking on the occasion, Yadav exhorted the people to cooperate with the government in making the city clean.
Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy attended a similar program at Bagh Lingampally and lifted garbage there. Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy toiled in a cleanliness drive at Chennareddy Nagar at Amberpet, Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao took part in a drive at Sriram Nagar at Madhapur, Transport Minister P Mahendar Reddy participated in a similar program at the Poosala Basthi area in Quthullapur, and Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy joined a drive at Boggula Kunta in King Kothi. And Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy and MP Prabhakar Reddy took part in a drive at Gonamma Basthi in Patancheru.
The ministers participated in the drives by removing garbage and trash piled up at several places. The leaders interacted with the people and promised that their problems would be resolved very soon. (NSS)
