Microsoft With Telangana In All Initiatives: Nadella
Revanth Reddy sought Microsoft's support in developing a strong ecosystem to position Hyderabad as a leading global technology hub.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella today said that Microsoft was committed to partnering with the Telangana government in all its initiatives.
The tech mogul was in Hyderabad as part of a year-end visit to his home town, and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries Jayesh Ranjan and Special Secretary to the CM Ajith Reddy met him at his residence.
Speaking on the occasion, Nadella praised the Chief Minister's vision of enhancing skills and improving infrastructure, and said that these two factors could position Hyderabad among the top 50 cities globally in terms of economic growth.
During the interaction, Revanth Reddy outlined his plans for infrastructure development in Telangana, including the Regional Ring Road, radial roads, Future City, new manufacturing clusters, and initiatives to create a large pool of industry-ready talent through institutions like the Young India Skills University.
The Chief Minister thanked Nadella for Microsoft's consistent investments and growth in Telangana. He also discussed the State's focus on emerging technologies such as AI, generative AI and cloud computing, and sought Microsoft's support in developing a strong ecosystem to position Hyderabad as a leading global technology hub.
Microsoft was one of the earliest technology companies to set up a technology centre in Hyderabad, has grown to a workforce of 10,000, and has invested in 600 MW of data centre capacity in the State over the years.
