A 22-year-old MBA student committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in the Chintal Basti of Saifabad.

According to Saifabad police, M Mahalaxmi (22), daughter of S Muni Swamy, was a first-year MBA student at the Arora PG college of Ramanthapur.

The young woman reportedly committed suicide in her house at Veer Nagar of Chintal Basti on Saturday evening hours. The reasons behind her suicide are yet to be known.

The Saifabad police registered a case and the dead body was shifted to the OGH mortuary for postmortem. (INN)
