Manikonda Fire Accident: CM Orders Probe

A fire accident in Manikonda on Sunday night killed five and injured several others.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy expressed shock and anguish over the ghastly fire accident in Manikonda of Ranga Reddy district on Sunday night.

The Chief Minister spoke to Home Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, and on the instructions of the Chief Minister, District Collector A Vani Prasad and Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dwaraka Tirumala Rao visited and supervised the relief operations.

Kiran Kumar Reddy asked the Disasters Response And Fire Services department to investigate into the incident and submit a comprehensive report on it.

The Chief Minister instructed the officials to initiate stern action against those responsible for the fire accident. He extended his condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families. (INN)
