Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) senior vice-president Mallu Ravi today assumed charge as Special Representative of the Telangana Government at New Delhi.
Speaking to the media after assuming charge, Ravi said that he would be in regular touch the union government and strive hard to resolve all pending issues related to Telangana.
"I will discharge my duties with commitment and fulfill the responsibilities entailed by this role for the development of Telangana. I feel the role is a recognition for the people of Telangana and Congress workers," Ravi said.
He also thanked AICC leaders and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for being appointed to the role.
Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy, Jadcherla MLA Aniruddh Reddy, former MP Madhuyashki Goud, and Congress leaders of Mahabubnagar and Nagar Kurnool districts congratulated Ravi on the occasion, and extended their best to him.
