Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan today came down heavily on the Chief Minister of the state K Chandrashekar Rao.
Using surprisingly strong language and ignoring the protocol for interactions between two Chief Ministers, Chauhan said that he had never seen a coward like KCR in his life.
He made these remarks while addressing a gathering at the state BJP headquarters in the city, in the aftermath of Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay's arrest and release.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the state government had the responsibility to answer the questions being raised by the opposition parties, but that there was no such situation in Telangana.
Instead, the state government was arresting anyone who dared raise their voice against it, he claimed.
He said that he had been CM for four consecutive terms, but that he had never behaved in an immoral manner like KCR was doing, and that the state was witnessing a draconian family rule.
He also said that the BJP would not be scared of the TRS, and that he had come to the state to extend his support to the agitation of the state unit of the party.
Asking KCR what had happened to his promises like free double bedroom houses, KG to PG free education and unemployment allowances, he claimed that the people of Telangana were ready to unseat the CM, and that the fight for justice had begun in the state.
Chauhan also heaped praises on the Sanjay, claiming that the latter was fighting selflessly on behalf of the people of Telangana, and that KCR was getting Sanjay even in his dreams.
He said that the BJP would come into power in the state after the 2023 Assembly elections.
