Suri's Sister Arrested By CID
Gangula Hemalatha Reddy was arrested for threatening a realtor, Vanga Sudheer Reddy, and trying to grab his land using her brother's influence.

The Crime Investigation Department on Thursday arrested Gangula Hemalatha Reddy, sister of faction leader Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Maddelacheruvu Suri, in connection with a land dispute between V Madhu Mohan Reddy and Bhanu Kiran. She was arrested at Maheshwaram in Rangareddy district.
According to the CID, Gangula Hemalatha Reddy was arrested for threatening a realtor, Vanga Sudheer Reddy, and trying to grab his land using her brother Maddelacheruvu Suri's influence.
The CID has listed Gangula Hemalatha Reddy as the 4th accused in the case.
Hemalatha was later produced before a magistrate, who sent her to judicial remand. She was later shifted to Chanchalguda Women's Jail.
It may be recalled that the police had arrested V Madhu Mohan Reddy (the second accused in the case in which Bhanu Kiran was involved) in a 220-acre land dispute at Maheshwaram.
Madhu is the main witness in the Suri murder case, as he was found to have been driving the vehicle in which Suri was shot down allegedly by Bhanu Kiran.
According to CID officials, Madhu Mohan Reddy is one of the 5 accused in the case registered by a businessman, Vanga Sudheer Reddy.
Bhanu Kiran, against whom several cases of criminal intimidation were registered, is the prime accused in this case as well.
CID officials said the accused had conspired together with a dishonest intention to grab Sudheer's property, and that they had kept him under constant threat to his life to forcibly register 4 plots at Pulimamidi village. (INN)
