The elections to local bodies may be delayed if they are to be held as per the 2011 Census.
"The elections could be delayed by 35 days if we carry out the polls as per the latest census," State Electoral Officer Ramakanth Reddy told reporters on Friday.
Speaking to reporters, he said that the regional review meetings would help solve local problems.
"We have come here to know first-hand the issues at the grassroots level," he said, adding that several issues have come to their notice this way.
The last of the regional review meetings will be held in Hyderabad, he added. (INN)
