KTR Inaugurates Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Lift Irrigation Scheme
The Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Lift Scheme has been constructed at a cost of Rs 714 crore, and can irrigate 50,000 acres in 99 villages of the Nirmal constituency.

Telangana Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao inaugurated the Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Lift Irrigation Scheme (the 27th package of the ambitious Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project) at Gundampelli village of Dilavarpur mandal in Nirmal district today.
KTR along with Minister for Endowments Indrakaran Reddy switched on the motors and released water into the canals.
The Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Lift Scheme has been constructed at a cost of Rs 714 crore, and can irrigate 50,000 acres in 99 villages of Dilawarpur, Narsapur (G), Kuntala, Sarangapur, Nirmal, Lakshmana Chanda, Mamada and Sonu mandals of the Nirmal constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, minister Indrakaran Reddy thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for granting funds for the completion of the project, and said that the farmers in Nirmal constituency were now able to get water for their crops for three seasons every year.
