He said that L&T had asked how the NDSA could issue a final report without conducting even the minimum required tests.

BRS working president K T Rama Rao today claimed that the entire report given by the NDSA on the Medigadda barrage was a hoax, given the questions raised by the world-renowned construction company L&T.
He said that L&T had asked how the NDSA could issue a final report without conducting even the minimum required tests, and described the report as full of mistakes.
"L&T's complete rejection of the report given by the NDSA as having been put together without conducting field-level tests is a slap in the face of the Congress government in the State and the BJP government at the Centre. From the preliminary report issued within hours during the Assembly elections to the final report released recently - spread over a year and a half - there are discrepancies and inconsistencies at every step," KTR said.
He mocked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the State government for using a "useless" report and claiming that the NDSA report was their benchmark.
KTR alleged that the CM had committed an unforgivable sin by ignoring the world's largest lift irrigation project (Kaleshwaram) simply because he feared it would add to former CM KCR's popularity.
He also alleged that due to the Chief Minister's mismanagement, crops on lakhs of acres in the State had dried up over the past year and a half, leading to over 500 farmer suicides.
KTR expressed anger that while the diaphragm wall at the Polavaram project was quickly restored even after it was washed away, in the case of Medigadda the entire project had been left in cold storage for 18 months, and called it the "most evil act".
He accused the Congress and the BJP, which he said conspired to smear the BRS during the Assembly elections, of now opening a new drama with the so-called final report, as part of the same conspiracy to sabotage the BRS' silver jubilee meeting.
He urged the State government and the NDSA to stop maligning the Kaleshwaram project, which was built without compromising on anything from the planning to construction quality, and to at least now address L&T's objections.
He also said that the Chief Minister should unconditionally apologise to the farmers of the State in the issue.
The BRS leader also demanded that the irrigation problems being faced by Telangana farmers should be resolved immediately by implementing restoration measures in Kaleshwaram similar to those undertaken at the Polavaram project.
He warned the CM that the Telangana farmers would otherwise deliver a befitting response to the "conspiracy politics" of the Chief Minister, the Congress and the BJP.
