KTR, Harish Rao Monitoring Efforts To Save TRS Leader

Ministers K T Rama Rao and T Harish Rao today instructed the Siddipet Collector and its SP to take immediate measures to protect TRS leader J Srinivas who was washed away in the heavy rains in the district.

Srinivas, a TRS leader from Tangallapally in Sircilla district, was washed away with the car he was in into the lake overflowing due to the heavy rains. The villagers had managed to protect three other persons with him, but could not protect Srinivas.

Reacting to the accident, the ministers asked the district officials to do everything possible including using a helicopter if necessary to find him.

Upon their instructions, the district officials sprung into action to find and protect the missing leader.

The ministers also instructed the Siddipet Collector and others to be vigilant given the lakes in spate due to the heavy rains, and ensure that such incidents did not recur.
