Prasad Accident Case: One Held

Police have nabbed a person who is believed to have been responsible for the accident nin which Kota Srinivasa Rao's son was killed.

Langar Houz police on Monday nabbed a person who is believed to have been responsible for the accident in which aspiring actor Kota Venkat Sai Prasad lost his life on Sunday.

According to information coming in, the man arrested has been identified as Mahmood, a van driver. It is believed that Mahmood dashed his van against Prasad's motorcycle, throwing him off balance and leading to the crash.

Prasad, the only son of Telugu film actor Kota Srinivas Rao, was pronounced dead on arrival at Olive Hospital after being shifted there due to the grievous injuries suffered in the accident.

He was cremated on Monday afternoon at the Erragadda crematorium.
