Komatireddy Venkat Reddy To Contest For Bhongir LS Seat

The name of the senior Telangana Congress leader and former minister was finalised by the party high command today, and will figure in the second list of the party.

Senior Telangana Congress leader and former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will contest for the Bhongir Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming elections.

His name was finalised by the party high command today, and will figure in the second list of the party to be released.

Although another party leader Madhu Yashki Goud tried for the party ticket for the Bhongir seat, he bowed out of the race following the name of Komatireddy coming to the fore.

Thanking the party high command for choosing him as its candidate, Reddy exuded confidence that he would win the seat. He claimed that he had lost the Nalgonda Assembly seat due to the formation of the grand alliance, but that that would not be an issue this time.
