Taking objection to the Telangana Congress affairs new in-charge R C Kuntia saying that N Uttam Kumar Reddy would continue as TPCC chief till the 2019 elections, Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy said that Kuntia had no authority to state that.
Speaking to the media after launching several developmental works in Marriguda in Nalgonda town on Wednesday, the Komatireddy brothers said that the Congress would move forward under the leadership of the youth. Nothing would result from the mere talk of Kuntia, they said, and claimed that the party activists desired a leader who was close to the people. They asked the party activists to avoid getting disappointed by Kuntia's words, and said that they would meet Sonia and Rahul Gandhi very soon, and that the high command would change the TPCC chief post well before 2019 if it did not like the incumbent's performance.
He also demanded that the state government fill the promised 85,000 jobs immediately, Venkat Reddy wondered how the government, which failed to fill even 25,000 jobs in the last three and half years, would be able to fill 85,000 jobs within one year.
