Claiming that corruption was rampant in all departments, Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy dared Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to file cases against him for saying that.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister, in the party plenary held on April 21, had warned the Opposition leaders to face cases on their allegations against him if they failed to prove them. He had also told his ministers to file cases against the Congress leaders if the latter made corruption allegations against the ministers.
Speaking to the media, he also claimed that the Chief Minister had offered free fertilizers since he was aware that the farmers were against the TRS government.
Talking about differences in the Congress, Komatireddy said that said that internal frictions were there in ruling TRS, too. He said that differences were common in every political party, especially at times when elections were very near. He stated that the small differences in the Congress would disappear soon.
The Congress was very strong in Telangana, he claimed. The party would organize a huge public meeting in Hyderabad soon.
