Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Sunday cautioned Telangana leaders against the "conspiracies" being hatched by Seemandhra leaders to stall formation of the separate state of Telangana.
Talking to reporters here, Prof Kodandaram alleged that the Seemandhra leaders were making all efforts to stop the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He also alleged that Rajya Sabha MP K V P Ramchandra Rao and other Seemandhra leaders have been lobbying with the Centre to maintain status quo on the statehood issue.
Appealing the Seemandhra leaders not to prevent the formation of Telangana, the JAC chairman asked the Telangana leaders not to fall pray to the conspiracies.
Prof Kodandaram also informed that the JAC would conduct "Telangana Samara Deeksha" on January 27. (INN)
