Union Minister for Tourism & Culture G Kishan Reddy today condemned the suspension of BJP MLA Etala Rajender from the State Assembly by its Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.
Kishan Reddy said that there was no bigger fascist in the entire country than CM K Chandrashekar Rao, who he claimed was doing everything to keep his promise of keeping Etala away from the Assembly.
Speaking to media persons at the State party office, Kishan Reddy said that the Speaker should first suspend the Chief Minister from the House.
He also said that the CM should boycott the House whenever Etala spoke in it, instead of behaving in such a dictatorial manner.
He said that KCR's behaviour was insulting the verdict of the people of Huzurabad, who had voted for Etala to represent them in the Assembly.
Kishan Reddy also said the Speaker was overlooking several unparliamentary words used by the Chief Minister, and asked if the CM had the power to abuse any leader of the opposition parties, but the opposition leaders could not use even perfectly legitimate words to describe the actions of the Speaker.
Reddy also predicted that the TRS would not get a single Lok Sabha seat in the next general elections due to its "autocratic" rule.
