Telangana Ministers Defend CM, Botsa

Ministers from the Telangana region claim that Kiran Kumar Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana are not biased towards any one region with regard to the Telangana issue.
Hyderabad | 8th August 2013
Ministers from the Telangana region, on Thursday, claimed that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana are not biased towards any region with regard to the Telangana issue.

Addressing a joint press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office, ministers Dr. J Geetha Reddy, D K Aruna and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy said that Chief Minister and PCC chief have played a good role in managing the situation that arose after the announcement of a separate Telangana state. They said that the CM and the PCC chief were working under the direct supervision of the Congress High Command, and that they were never biased.

Geetha Reddy said that the Congress High Command has already announced its decision on Telangana, and that Congress president Sonia Gandhi would never go back on her word. She condemned Seemandhra leaders' criticism of Sonia, as well as the vandalisation of statues of national leaders in the Seemandhra region, and described the acts as an insult to the nation.

The Telangana ministers also advised TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao to stop making provocative statements against Seemandhra people. They said that nearly three crore Telugus were living safely outside Andhra Pradesh, and that similarly, Seemandhra people could live in peace and safety in Telangana. (INN)
