Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to have a meeting with selected TSRTC employees from all the 97 depots in the State on December 1 (Sunday) at Pragathi Bhavan.
The CM has decided to invite five employees from each depot, and instructed the RTC MD to make arrangements for their travel to attend the meeting.
The CM instructed that of the five members from each depot, two should be women. He also mandated that there be representation to all communities.
The CM wanted the selected representatives to reach Pragathi Bhavan by 12 noon, and to have lunch there.
The CM will then interact personally with the employees after the lunch. He will discuss all the issues related to the RTC threadbare with them.
For this meeting, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, and the TSRTC's MD, EDs, RMs and DVMs have also been invited.
Meanwhile, Transport Minister Ajay Kumar thanked the Chief Minister for allowing the RTC employees to rejoin work unconditionally.
The minister met the CM at Pragathi Bhavan, and thanked him for promising to safeguard the existence of the TSRTC and for deciding to have talks with the RTC workers directly.
