TSRTC employees today expressed happiness as they returned to work after a 52-day-long strike and the ordeal that followed as the corporation refused to take them back.

Several workers rushed to their respective depots and workplaces eagerly, and were visibly thrilled to resume duties in places they would consider their second homes.

They thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for taking them back.

"We are indebted to the Chief Minister for letting us get back to our duties," many of the RTC employees said delightedly.

At some places some of the workers even conducted milk "abhishekams" to photos of KCR for the gesture.

They vowed to work for the RTC as per government directions hereon.

The Chief Minister had asked the RTC employees to rejoin duties, without any conditions, after a cabinet meeting in Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday night.
