Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that the BJP would launch a massive agitation against the TRS-led state government if CM K Chandrashekar Rao did not fulfill the promises made to the people of Telangana.
In an open letter, Sanjay said that the letter written by the CM to Prime Minister Narendra Modi was full of lies.
He alleged that the CM had written the letter to only to divert the attention of the people of the state from the BJP's agitation over the people's problems.
He said that the farmers of the state were forced to celebrate Sankranthi in tears thanks to KCR reneging on his promises to them.
He said that the CM had promised fertilisers free of cost to the farmers of the state, and should deliver on it right away.
He also demanded that the CM waive off farm loans to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh, which was another promise of his.
Besides the above, Bandi also asked the CM to announce a bonus of Rs. 500 per acre for paddy, cotton and maize crops.
He also demanded that the state government amend GO No. 317, and also fill up 2 lakh vacant government job openings in the state.
He said that all the demands should be implemented by the CM before the upcoming Ugadi.
