Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao remembered noted freedom fighter, former minister and Telangana leader late Konda Lakshman Bapuji on his 99th birth anniversary.
The CM described Bapuji as having participated with vigour and zeal in the Quit India movement, the non-Mulki agitation and the Telangana agitation.
Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's principles, Bapuji had participated in the Quit India movement, and had also waged battle against the Nizam and the Razaakars during the Telangana armed struggle in 1947-48, KCR stated.
KCR added that Bapuji would always be an inspiration for many, and would be remembered for generations to come. (INN)
