Telangana BJP President Dr K Laxman on Wednesday asserted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's graph was sinking after he retained power last year.
In a informal chat with mediapersons at the State party headquarters, along with party leaders Sudhakara Sharma and N V Subhash, Laxman said that while the BJP's graph was soaring due to the Article 370, triple talaq and Ram mandir issues, KCR's graph was declining due to his style of functioning and erratic policies, especially on tackling the ongoing RTC employee strike.
He said that the projects taken up in the first term of KCR went smoothly but all the schemes in his second term had utterly failed. Debts, viral fevers and suicides had increased under the present regime, he alleged, and said sarcastically said that Telangana State itself was in cold storage due to the erratic financial decisions of the government.
He said that his party's struggle against KCR's rule would continue, and that KCR would meet his Waterloo soon at the hands of the BJP. He exuded confidence that the BJP would fare well in the upcoming municipal elections, as the first indication of KCR's impending decimation. He said that the Central government schemes would have big impact on the municipal polls.
The BJP leader also said that there was no discussion in the party to make Hyderabad the second capital or India or a union territory.
