KCR Invites Maharashtra CM, Governor To Kaleshwaram Launch
The Telangana CM personally visited Mumbai and thanked Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao and CM Devendra Fadnavis for their help with the irrigation project.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today called on Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai and exchanged pleasantries.
The CM presented Vidyasagar Rao a shawl on the occasion, and then extended him an invitation to the inauguration of the project. KCR apprised Rao of the completion of the project works with the co-operation extended by the Maharashtra government. He also extended gratitude for Vidyasagar Rao's initiative in providing timely support for the works.
The two also discussed the need for improving bilateral ties between the two states.
Later, the Telangana CM also extended an invitation to his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis. Thanking Fadnavis, KCR said that the Telangana government was able to built the project only with the active cooperation of the Maharashtra government and the positive response from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to Telangana's requests for support.
KCR has already invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to attend the inaugural function of the prestigious project.
