KCR Demands Probe Into Wgl Incident

The TRS president claimed that no one cares when innocent people of Telangana are subjected to bullets and beatings.
Hyderabad | 31st May 2010
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) demanded that the High Court conduct a judicial probe chaired by a sitting judge of the Court, into the Mahabubabad firing incident.

Expressing rage at the violent incident, He also said that the "perpetrators" of the violence, Parkal Congress MLA Konda Surekha and her husband Konda Murali, who were supposed to be languishing in jail, were being given royal treatment by the police. He said that the firing was unacceptable, and claimed that no one cares when innocent people of Telangana are subjected to bullets and beatings.

KCR had questions to ask of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), too. He demanded to know of party president Chandrababu Naidu why a stance on Telangana was not taken in the recently conducted Mahanadu. The Mahanadu is the TDP's annual conclave, and this year, it was a 3-day affair held at Gandipet.
